It was initially sold under Uchida's own brand, \u003cstrong\u003eChairs\u003c\/strong\u003e, and was later produced by \u003cstrong\u003eALESSI\u003c\/strong\u003e. In reproducing this product, the original design has been faithfully recreated down to the smallest detail. The dial design is an ALESSI version, featuring slim indices that give it a modern look. Thanks to advances in production technology, the designs Uchida pursued can now be realised with even greater precision than was possible at the time. Since almost no drawings from that period have survived, Lemnos created drawings of the original product and reproduced it accordingly. The first hundred pieces sold out almost immediately in Japan.
