Nob Ruijgrok
Nob Ruijgrok, Designacademie, founded the production company Eek en Ruijgrok together with Piet Hein Eek in 1993. Over 23 years, they grew into a company of almost a hundred man.
In 2015 he became separate from Piet Hein Eek and focused more on his own productions that stay close to the making process. Back to the basis. He started a workshop in Eindhoven at Sectie C where, alongside space for his own work, he made his well-equipped workshop available to others and offered support in realising ideas. Nob passed away in 2022 but has permanently restored appreciation for the (re-)use of wood in particular within interior design.
