Carlo Mazzeri

Born in Oleggio (Novara) in 1927. Carlo Mazzeri graduated in architecture from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura in Venice in 1956.
In 1957 he designed the cocktail shaker "870" with Luigi Massoni. It was one of the first Alessi objects designed by external collaborators and is still in production today, found in bars all over the world.

In the 1960s and 1970s, together with Anselmo Vitale, he designed a complete collection of items for Alessi, intended mainly for use in the hospitality industry.
