Jaime Hayon

Spanish artist and designer (Madrid, 1974) who founded his own studio in 2001. He is regarded as one of the greatest innovators of recent years, and comparisons are often drawn with his compatriot Javier Mariscal, who caused a sensation in the early 1990s. In 2013 he was the subject of a large retrospective at the Groninger Museum, where he had designed the information centre in 2010. Many of his works have been acquired by the museum. Jaime is married to the Dutch photographer and artist Nienke Klunder.
