Jeroen Wand

Jeroen Wand explores the raw, unpolished side of design. Not the neat or predictable, but the unexpected and experimental takes shape. Rather than following existing standards of beauty, the studio actively searches for alternatives — for designs that provoke and surprise.
By combining or working traditional materials and techniques in a different way, new production methods emerge, such as paper laminating or casting with rotating plaster moulds. Shape and function are thus directly influenced by the making process itself.
Jeroen Wand (1985) studied product design in Maastricht and obtained his master's degree at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. He lives and works in Eindhoven.
