Kaj Bohesen

Kay Bojesen is synonymous with original Danish design. He remains one of the greatest Danish designers of the twentieth century and represents the story of one of the strongest and most beloved brands in Danish design history, with classics that are truly in a league of their own. For decades, he created original stories from wood, resulting in a creative, playful world full of love, smiling lines and unique shapes.
He specialised in smaller yet highly decorative objects for the home, and his iconic wooden monkey has become a particularly striking graphic design object, cherished and recognised by all ages.
