Pier Giacomo Castiglioni
Born in Milan in 1913.
He graduated in architecture from the Polytecnico di Milano, where he would later teach architectural composition.
Together with his brothers Achille and Livio, he began focusing on urban planning, architecture and, in particular, design immediately after the war. Together with Achille, he received various accolades, such as the permanent exhibition of six of their works at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and won five editions of the Compasso d'Oro Award.
