Roel Berghman (1963) trained as an interior architect. From early on, he focused his attention exclusively on furniture design.
Alongside various shop interiors and designs for furniture manufacturers, he developed a series of wall clocks under the name Tickaway, one of which has quietly evolved into a classic since 1989: the 'Tickaway Balsa'.
