The Energy of the Circle: ACTA
The undisputed protagonist of the Acta series is the circle. It reappears both in the shape of the jewellery and in the granulation chosen to decorate it. Unexpected combinations are explored, with the circle constantly taking on new geometric and material characteristics.

"Venusia" is a variant of the name Venus, goddess of beauty. She recalls the close strap between man and bodily adornments, whose beauty itself becomes an element of "shielding and protection". This strap has always existed and is connected to religions, rituals and the aesthetic taste of the individual. The decoration obtained through a sequence of dots industrially reinterprets one of the oldest and most fascinating goldsmithing techniques, Etruscan Granulation. This refined process consisted of soldering minuscule spheres of gold or silver onto a metal plate. Thanks to the rich interaction with light, the jewel becomes a kind of luminous skin: the jewellery becomes almost magical objects". â—† Elena Salmistraro

Elena Salmistraro founded her own studio in 2009 together with Angelo Stoli, where she has embarked on numerous collaborations with companies across the creative industries, including Apple, Disney, Nike, Alessi, Lavazza, Bosa, Capellini, De Castelli, Cc-Tapis, Timberland, Replay, LuisaViaRoma, Yoox and LondonArt. Her designs bring art and design together. An eye for detail, historical references, harmonious compositions, expressive use of colour and a poetic style all characterise her projects. In 2017 she was named best new designer in Milan, and in 2022 she was voted Designer of the Year. Her Venusia jewellery series received the Best Design Award in Italy in 2022.

Items in stock are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. You'll receive a track & trace as soon as your parcel is on its way. Should an item just happen to be out of stock, we'll let you know when the new delivery arrives. We receive fresh shipments from Italy every week, so the wait is normally max 8 days. We always keep a close eye on availability and expected delivery times.
We offer free delivery within the Netherlands on orders over €65. Below this amount, a fixed contribution applies, which you'll see at checkout. For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
