Luigi Caccia Dominioni
Born in Milaan in 1913, he graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1936, and that same year began his career in Venice together with Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, winning the competition held at the Vimercate School. In the field of industrial design he was regarded as a "pioneer" when he exhibited at the VII Triënnale in Milaan with a series of radios, designed together with the Castiglioni brothers. In the 1950s, together with Gardella and Corradi, he founded Azucena, a collection of the furniture and objects he designed. The "Caccia" cutlery, designed by him, is exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
