Luigi Massoni
Luigi Massoni (Milan, 1930) designer and architect, was responsible for the A&D in Cermenate (Como). After a period of training at the Collettivo di Architettura in Milan and his first professional experiences between 1953 and 1955, he began his design career by creating the cocktail shaker (1957, with Carlo Mazzeri) and the Series 5 containers, which are still in production for Alessi. Between 1957 and 1960, with C. De Carli he contributed to professional and production renewal, by taking part in various events and with the founding of the magazine "Il Mobile Italiano". In 1959, through a partnership with a group of furniture manufacturers, he became the organiser of the founding of Mobilia and that same year he also joined Boffi as a production coordinator and designer, creating some of the first ever modular systems for home and kitchen. It was from this experience that, still in his capacity as designer and art director, he strengthened the image of Poltrona Frau (1968-1976); Fratelli Guzzini (1963-1976), he designed the Bolo Cubo set of bowls (1962) and the Vanessa tableware (1969); iGuzzini (1965-1976), this relationship was later revived in the early 1990s, when he also collaborated with Cedit, GABBIANELLI, Sirrah and Venini.

Should an item just happen to be out of stock, we'll let you know when the new delivery arrives. We receive fresh shipments from Italy every week, so the wait is normally max 8 days. We always keep a close eye on availability and expected delivery times.
We offer free delivery within the Netherlands on orders over €65. Below this amount, a fixed contribution applies, which you'll see at checkout. For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
