The functional elements, the foil cutter and the bottle opener, are seamlessly integrated into the body and only appear when you use them. Once opened, the unfolded shape offers a firm, ergonomic grip for uncorking.
Designer
Naoto Fukasawa
Naoto Fukasawa (1956) graduated from Tama Art University in 1980. Until 1988, Fukasawa worked as a designer at Seiko-Epson corp. In 1989 he left Japan for the United States. In January 2003 he founded his own desk in Tokyo. Fukasawa also joined the advisory board of the Japanese company 'MUJI'. In December 2003 he founded '± 0', 'plusminuszero', producing household objects ranging from umbrellas to electronics. Naoto Fukasawa's designs have won more than 50 design awards in Europe and America. Alongside Japanese projects, there is a scala of projects with Italian, German and other European companies.

Items in stock are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. You'll receive a track & trace as soon as your parcel is on its way. Should an item just happen to be out of stock, we'll let you know when the new delivery arrives. We receive fresh shipments from Italy every week, so the wait is normally max 8 days. We always keep a close eye on availability and expected delivery times.
We offer free delivery within the Netherlands on orders over €65. Below this amount, a fixed contribution applies, which you'll see at checkout. For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
