William Alsop
Will Alsop, English architect and artist, born in Northampton (1947), studied at the Architectural Association in London, worked with Cedric Price 1973-1977, with Roderick Ham in 1977 and with Jan Störmer until early 2001, when he founded Alsop architects, with offices in London, Rotterdam and Moscow. His most important projects in these years were the Passenger & Ferry Terminal in Hamburg (1990); Barrage & Visitor Centre in Cardiff (1991), Le Grand Bleu government headquarters in Marseille (1991), the Tottenham Hale and North Greenwich Jubilee Line Underground stations in London (1991 and 1992); The Stage in Groningen (1995), the Reuters headquarters in Moscow (1996), the National Archives in Hamburg (1998). Alsop's work and projects received wide recognition - an honorary doctorate from Leicester University and an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Society of British Sculptors - and awards including the RIBA National Award for the Visitor Centre in Cardiff (1991) and the RIBA Civic and Community Architecture Award for Le Grand Bleu (1997). His professional activities were always intertwined with teaching, first as a sculpture lecturer at St. Martin's School of Art in London and later at various leading universities in Britain and abroad. Since 1997 he has taught at the Technical University and led the Hochbau institute in Vienna.

Should an item just happen to be out of stock, we'll let you know when the new delivery arrives. We receive fresh shipments from Italy every week, so the wait is normally max 8 days. We always keep a close eye on availability and expected delivery times.
We offer free delivery within the Netherlands on orders over €65. Below this amount, a fixed contribution applies, which you'll see at checkout. For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
