Product information
For the cat bowls, a wide shape with sloping edges was chosen,
designed to prevent the whiskers from touching the sides of a bowl that is too tall or angled, which causes discomfort while eating.
The colours are precisely matched to how pets perceive them ( yellow, green-blue and blue ). For extra distinction, the bowls are decorated differently.
The separately available silicone mat gives the bowls extra grip while keeping the floor clean and everything easy to clean.
Designer
Samiro Yunoki
Samiro Yunoki was born in Tokyo in 1922. He enrolled in the Department of Aesthetics and Art History within the Faculty of Letters at the Imperial University of Tokyo, and in 1946 he began working at the Ohara Museum of Art, where he encountered Soetsu Yanagi's "Mingei" Japanese folk crafts. This inspired him to give up his job and study under Keisuke Serizawa to become a dye artist. In 1972 he became a professor at the Joshibi University of Art and Design, and in 1987 he was appointed president. His work has been shown in exhibitions and displays at numerous museums both in Japan and abroad.

We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
