Marble: A fragrance that evokes the serene freshness of Tuscan marble stone, soft, powdery and mineral, with a calming effect.

The perfumer:
“With Marble, I wanted to translate the strength and purity of white marble into fragrance. I used soft, powdery and mineral notes to capture the light, the calm and the quiet elegance of stone, shaped by time.
I chose white Carrara marble as inspiration. Ingredients such as almond and heliotrope evoke the whiteness and clarity of the stone, while dry wood and amber notes express the dry, mineral character of marble. For the top notes, I chose fresh, clear ingredients, inspired by open-air quarries.
Cedarwood, patchouli and iris add depth to the composition. I believe that only natural ingredients can offer such richness and a complex olfactory experience. This creates a fragrance that feels clear, serene and timeless, just like the stone itself.” – Serge De Oliveira

Michael Anastassiades
Michael Anastassiades grew up in Cyprus before moving to London to study engineering and design, opening his own studio there in 1994. His work spans industrial products, crafted objects and self-initiated experiments, drawing inspiration from art and other creative fields. Every piece is guided by a poetic interpretation of technology, materials and function. Anastassiades has received countless awards, and his work features in the permanent collections of large international museums such as MoMA in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Items in stock are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. You'll receive a track & trace as soon as your parcel is on its way. Should an item just happen to be out of stock, we'll let you know when the new delivery arrives. We receive fresh shipments from Italy every week, so the wait is normally max 8 days. We always keep a close eye on availability and expected delivery times.
We offer free delivery within the Netherlands on orders over €65. Below this amount, a fixed contribution applies, which you'll see at checkout. For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
