Production & Material
The housing is made from a solid block of aluminium, machined out using a CNC lathe. This mechanical production process ensures extremely tight, clean facets and sharp edges. The object is finished with a sandblasted and anodised low, which creates an industrial aesthetic in which the play of light emphasises its three-dimensionality.

Konstantin Grcic
Konstantin Grcic (1965) is a German industrial designer of Serbian descent. He was strongly influenced by Jasper Morrison, whom he first encountered as a tutor and later as an employer. Afterwards, he started his own desk in Munich. Under the influence of Morrison, Grcic approaches design in a functionalist manner. He himself describes his designs as the product of a clear and logical design process with honest use of materials and respect for production methods. In this way he developed his own visual language and became a driving force of technical and formal innovation within the international design world.

For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
