He began his activities with studies on visual perception and then turned his attention to games for children, graphic design, design and architecture: various directions share a common idea, namely the reflection on the meaning of shape and project. He was an advisor for Arredo Urbano of the city council of Milan and chairman of the Association for Industrial Design (1976-1979). He was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1967, 1979, 1987 and in 2001 for his table "Tavolo legato". In 2001 he published the book "Progetto e passione" (Project and Passion), which analyses design from a broader cultural perspective. He collaborates with design companies such as Artemide, Castelli, Danese, Driade, GABBIANELLI, Interflex, Lema, Magis, Zanotta.

Items in stock are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. You'll receive a track & trace as soon as your parcel is on its way. Should an item just happen to be out of stock, we'll let you know when the new delivery arrives. We receive fresh shipments from Italy every week, so the wait is normally max 8 days. We always keep a close eye on availability and expected delivery times.
We offer free delivery within the Netherlands on orders over €65. Below this amount, a fixed contribution applies, which you'll see at checkout. For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.
Yes. We supply only genuine Alessi products, sourced directly through official channels. We have been a dedicated Alessi dealer since 1990. Every item arrives in its original Alessi packaging and carries the Alessi brand engraving.
Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
