Designer
Ferrucio Laviani
Laviani studied Architecture and Design at the Polytechnic faculty in Milan. His professors included Achille Castiglioni, Marco Zanuso and Ettore Sottsass, among others. He therefore also took part in the Memphis movement. From 1983 he worked for Michele De Lucchi and became a partner in 1986, until he went independent in 1991. That same year he celebrated his first success at the Salone for the label Kartell. He developed the pendant lamp Fly in 2000 for Kartell. His best-known lamp is the Bourgie, and for Foscarini the Orbital. He has also long been responsible for the settings and catalogue of Kartell.

FAQ
Items in stock are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. You'll receive a track & trace as soon as your parcel is on its way. Should an item just happen to be out of stock, we'll let you know when the new delivery arrives. We receive fresh shipments from Italy every week, so the wait is normally max 8 days. We always keep a close eye on availability and expected delivery times.
We offer free delivery within the Netherlands on orders over €65. Below this amount, a fixed contribution applies, which you'll see at checkout. For orders shipped abroad, separate rates apply; these are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. If an item differs from standard dimensions or weight, the delivery charge may be higher. We never apply this without checking first: we'll always contact you beforehand and only ship once you've given your approval.
Of course. Please do so as soon as possible. Feel free to call or email us. The item must of course be returned unused and in its original packaging. We do not offer approval shipments with free returns. We trust you'll understand.

Yes, we'd be happy to. Just let us know when placing your order and we'll gift wrap the item for you. .. Please note: if items may be wrapped together, such as baubles, do let us know as well. During busy periods this makes a considerable difference to processing times.
